Meet the Coaches:
Harper Houk is a student-athlete at Grand Canyon University located in Phoenix, Arizona. Harper is currently majoring in Sports and Entertainment Management and will be entering his senior year in the fall. Upon graduation, Harper plans to pursue a career in either coaching or children’s ministry. In regards to swimming, Harper specializes in breaststroke and individual medley events. At the collegiate level, Harper competes in the 200 breast, 100 breast, and 200 IM, as well as medley relay events. Finally, Harper won the 2020 Knoxville Male Swimmer of the Year award and was a 200 IM Tennessee High School State Champion/All-American.
Zack Telep will be starting his Senior year at the University of Tennessee this fall. Zack is currently majoring in exercise science. He plans on pursuing a career in either physical therapy or as a chiropractor upon graduation. For Carson Newman, Zack competes in both the 100 & 200 butterfly, 100 freestyle, and 100 backstroke. Back in 2020, he placed 3rd in the state for the 100 fly and 4th in the 100 free, was a Winter Junior National Qualifier, and a nominee for the 2020 Knoxville Male Swimmer of the Year.
